  1. Tinelyra tried very hard to get his nose in front again today, but couldn't quite overhaul the winner and finished a very good second. He is a very likeable horse who has really got his act together over fences. King Muro didn't fare quite so well and finished out of the placings.

Tomorrow we have Our Cat at Chepstow, and Balzaccio at Huntingdon.

  2. A brilliant day yesterday with both of our runners winning.

Lord Landen won at Newton Abbott with Conor doing the steering, proving that his good win at Leicester was no fluke, and Chezzy won the Bumper at Carlisle under Alain Cawley. This was a good performance by Chezzy as it was her first time on a racecourse, she pulled right away from the rest of the field winning by twelve lengths beating the favourite who had won the time before. She is not a horse who shows a lot at home, but she certainly showed a very willing attitude. Great for her owners who have been very patient as she has taken a long time to come to hand (prepare to race).

Tinelyra and King Muro run at Towcester today.

Wishing everyone a very Happy Easter Day! 🐣

  3. A great day at Cheltenham today as Me And Ben wins the Mares Listed Handicap Chase, after a couple of slow jumps early on she cruised into contention turning into the home straight, and after an almighty leap over the last fence she was always holding the challenge of the runner up. Conor was riding her today (due to Paddy being injured), and also won the first race so at the start of the day he hadn't ridden a winner at Cheltenham - he has now had a double!

Bradley also ran well today, he jumped really well to finish 5th.

  4. Arthur McBride ran an absolute belter in the faster division of the two Bumpers at Exeter on Tuesday, finishing second only beaten a head. Sam Twiston-Davies gave him a great ride as unfortunately Faith Keeper slipped over on the bend in an earlier race and Paddy broke his collarbone and therefore had to give up the rest of his rides. We wish you a speedy recovery Paddy.

  5. Doubletoilntrouble won the 3m4f handicap chase at Stratford today, seeing the trip out really well this was the second part of a double for Paddy (who won earlier on one for Tom George), and its his Birthday today!

Very sadly our other runner Mr Lennygreengrass suffered a fatal injury in the first race, our commiserations go to his lovely owner Caroline Mackness.

  6. A brilliant result in The Grand National today with Alvarado coming fourth! He jumped beautifully and was running all the way to the line in what was quite an eventful race, even by its own standards. Paul Malony did a great job getting him in a good rythym and steering him out of trouble when necessary.

A great result for the yard, and amazingly his owners William and Angela Rucker have now had a runner finish in the top four in the race for the last six years. A fantastic day all round.

The Govaness ran a cracker in the Listed Mares Bumper yesterday also finishing fourth, only beaten three and three-quarter lengths and giving away at least four pounds to everything. She is really very exciting for the future.

  7. Really looking forward to The Grand National on Saturday, all being well Alvarado runs for us in the big race. His owners William and Angela Rucker have a great track record in The National, and it's a great race to be involved in.

No runners today, Our Cat runs at Wincanton tomorrow.
